2026 Activities


St Patrick’s Eve – Monday 16 March 2026

6.30pm – 9.30pm

Festivities begin at Enniskillen Castle with an evening of free, family-friendly entertainment, including:

  • Live outdoor “rock-folk” gig by The Porter Bellys
  • Hot food vendors, coffee, ice cream and a licensed horsebox bar
  • A stunning illuminated flotilla on Lough Erne, featuring 40+ boats, with public viewing points along the riverfront or grab the best spots behind the barrack walls.

 

 

St Patrick’s Day – Tuesday 17 March 2026

Free Family Fun Day

1.00pm – 3.30pm

The celebrations continue at Enniskillen Castle and the Broadmeadow with a lively afternoon of:

  • Family entertainment and interactive activities
  • Opportunities to get out and about on Lough Erne
  • High-energy fun attractions and free sweet treats
  • Travel to an island for active pursuits 
  • Live traditional music and dancing
  • Relax with traditional story telling in Enniskillen’s oldest building
  • A wide range of additional catering vendors on site

 

 

Traditional St Patrick’s Parade

3.30pm – 4.30pm

The much-loved parade will travel from Castle back to Castle, winding through Enniskillen’s town centre and crossing its iconic bridges – celebrating the unique geography of the island town.

Visitors are encouraged to secure viewing spots early and enjoy:

  • Pre-parade entertainment from the fabulous folkabilly group The Hand Me Downs with special surprise appearances along the main route.

 

Crowd numbers of up to 30,000 are expected throughout the day.
